PostGIS and QGIS

In this series we'll explore features of PostGIS, a powerful database instrument for working with terrain data (and not only). Considering that's a database tool, we'll have data in tabular form, that's not very helpful. So we'll use also QGIS, a program for manipulating terrain data, that have the possibility to connect to a PostGIS database, in order to view data in a more user-friendly way.
